Step 1. Applications Received
You may send your resumes, transcript of records and other pertinent papers by regular mail or e-mail. You may also drop by our building and give your papers personally to our main lobby receptionists who will forward the same to us at Human Resources Management.

Step 2. Preliminary Screening
We evaluate all applications we receive in relation to the qualifications required of our vacant positions. This then leads to Step 3.

Step 3. Preliminary Interview
We then call in those who passed Step 3 to come to our office for a Preliminary Interview. This interview is done by an HR Associate.

Step 4. Preliminary Medical
If you passed the Preliminary Interview, you will also be asked to see our Medical Officer, a doctor, for a preliminary medical examination.

Step 5. Pre-employment Examinations
Those who pass Step 4 are made to undergo a series of tests to validate what surfaced in the Preliminary Interview. Testing may take from two hours up to five hours.

Step 6. Line Interviews
Those who pass the tests are then forwarded for further interview by the management members of the group or department where the vacancy exists. These may be panel or one-on-one interviews.

Step 7. Medical Examination
A final short list of applicants will be generated after the Line Interviews. Those who belong to the list are made to undergo physical examinations to determine their state of health and fitness to work.

Step 8. Line Decision

On the basis of the overall test, interview and physical examination the management team of the department where the vacancy exists will make a final decision on who to hire.

Step 9. Salary Offer
The successful candidate is then called over for the salary offer and if he agrees, he will then be asked to sign an employment contract.

Step 10. NEW EMPLOYEE STARTS!

We also wish to remind you of the following:

* A potential Petron family member should pass the previous step before he can proceed to the next step.
* The entire process, from step 1 to 10, would usually take about 1 to 2 months to complete.
