Membership

Membership Committee Head Willie Radan plans to increase membership and attendance in the next reunion and proposed the creation of a working group to coordinate the updating of membership data, coordinate reunion activities, issue invitations and invite new members. The Committee will also pursue the creation of regional chapters in Bataan, Cebu and Mindanao.

The working group will be as follows:

Supply, Operations, Foreign-based Tessie Rivera
Refinery Ed Jocson
Corporate Services, PNOC-based Joe Eijansantos

Chairman Reyes said there is a need to amend the Association's constitution and by-laws to the effect that regular employees of PNOC and its subsidiaries hired through Petron be qualified to join Semper. Until ratified, the Board will approve applications falling under this category.

Events

The Events Committee headed by Rolly Dizon has lined up a Golf Tournament, the Annual Reunion, a Car Raffle*, a Family Day*, and A Life in the Spirit Seminar* as activities for 2006: The last three activities (*) will be implemented subject to the results of a survey to be conducted on members' willingness to participate.

Permanent Office

One of the plans for 2006 is to have a permanent office for Semper. In the past, the office address of Semper is the office address of the incumbent president.
