Membership
Membership Committee Head Willie Radan plans to
increase membership and attendance in the next reunion and proposed the
creation of a working group to coordinate the updating of membership data,
coordinate reunion activities, issue invitations and invite new members. The
Committee will also pursue the creation of regional chapters in Bataan, Cebu
and Mindanao.
The working group will be as follows:
| Marketing Division |
Susan Chavez |
| Supply, Operations, Foreign-based |
Tessie Rivera |
| Refinery |
Ed Jocson |
| Corporate Services, PNOC-based |
Joe Eijansantos |
Chairman Reyes said there is a need to amend
the Association's constitution and by-laws to the effect that regular employees
of PNOC and its subsidiaries hired through Petron be qualified to join Semper.
Until ratified, the Board will approve applications falling under this
category.
Events
The Events Committee headed by Rolly Dizon has
lined up a Golf Tournament, the Annual Reunion, a Car Raffle*, a Family Day*,
and A Life in the Spirit Seminar* as activities for 2006: The last three
activities (*) will be implemented subject to the results of a survey to be
conducted on members' willingness to participate.
Permanent Office
One of the plans for 2006 is to have a
permanent office for Semper. In the past, the office address of Semper is the
office address of the incumbent president.
